The sun was out and the temperature was perfect for those who showed up at the oval this morning. What made it special were the eight trial skaters who attended the session. The skaters ranged from elementary school age to those who are on the brink of retirement. The common thread amongst all of them were the smiles as they gilded around the Oval.
