Minnesota speed skating groups and clubs welcome skaters of all ages and abilities.

Try Speed Skating sessions are available throughout the ice season (November- February). The session is free and includes the use of speed skates, if they are available in your size. All participants must be able to skate independently to participate.

Roseville Parks and Recreation offers Learn-to-Speed Skate lessons at the Roseville Oval. Visit their site to sign up. Speed skate rentals are available.

Interested in joining a speed skating club?

Midway Speedskating

Midway Speedskating Club is the largest and oldest club in Greater Minnesota. Among their members are children as young as five years old and skaters who have competed in the Olympic Games. The club is based at the Roseville John Rose Oval.

Twin cities speedskating

Twin Cities Speedskating is a group of master (adult) skaters that skate during public and reserved ice time at the Roseville Oval. The club is based at the Roseville John Rose Oval.

Members skate for fitness and fun.
